Nursery Admissions

Children are eligible to attend Sudbourne Nursery in the academic year during which they turn 4. You can register your child for our nursery once they turn 2.

There is no automatic transfer from Sudbourne Nursery into Sudbourne School Reception class.  Children attending our Nursery must still apply to Lambeth for a Reception place.

Nursery Admissions Criteria

The school will allocate places to meet the preferences of as many families as possible using the standard admissions criteria as applied by London Borough of Lambeth for school admissions.  We ask parents/carers to indicate a ‘second preference’ on the Nursery Application Form in case we are unable to meet your first preference.  Parents/carers will be informed of their offer as soon as possible.

We operate a waiting list for applicants to whom we have not been able to offer a place.

How to Apply

Please complete this online form Nursery Application Form to register your child for our nursery and email admin@sudbourne.com a copy of your child's proof of age document stating that it is for nursery registration.

Nearer the time of admission, we will require up-to-date proofs of address documents referred to in the online form.

Parents/carers wishing to apply for a place at Sudbourne Nursery must apply by January 15th for entry the following September.  Please contact the school office on 0207 274 7631 or email admin@sudbourne.com for further details. 

Lunch Arrangments

Children who stay for the whole day are asked to bring a packed lunch to school or buy a school meal at £2.56 per child, per day.
