School Council

At Sudbourne we are incredibly proud of our school council!

The council is elected each year and consists of two representatives from each of the Junior classes. Our aim is to work together with each other, with our classmates and teachers and with the governors and parents to make our school the best it can be! The council consists of a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Display Coordinator, Advertiser and Food Bank Coordinator.

Most recently, the coucil has focused on giving back and making change! We have raised over £300 in support of Lunchbowl which provides meals for children in the Kibera slum in Nairobi. We also have some exciting plans which include scaring hunger away in Lambeth for our charity partner Foodbank. In aid of this, we dressed up as hunger heroes and scary monsters while collecting donations for the foodbank.

Watch this space for news of what we do next!

If you have any suggestions that you would like to be considered by School Council please speak to your Class Representative.

Sharing ideas makes things happen!
