How to Apply

Children can join Sudbourne Nursery from the age of 3. There is no catchment area, and we welcome applications from all families.

Application forms are available from the school office, or you can download one from the Downloads section below. Once completed, please return the form to the school office along with the required proofs of identity.

After we receive your application, we will invite you to visit the school—if you haven’t already—to meet the team and explore our nursery. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about your child and for you to ask questions, get to know our setting, and decide whether Sudbourne Nursery is the right fit for your family.

Following your visit, we will be in touch as soon as possible to offer a place (subject to availability) and request confirmation of your acceptance.

Nursery Admissions Criteria

We allocate nursery places in line with the standard admissions criteria set out in our Nursery Admissions Policy, aiming to meet the preferences of as many families as possible. We ask parents and carers to indicate a second preference on the Nursery Application Form in case we are unable to offer your first choice. Families will be notified of the outcome of their application as soon as possible.

If we are unable to offer a place, your child will be added to our waiting list, which we review regularly.

Please note that attending Sudbourne Nursery does not guarantee a place in Reception at Sudbourne Primary School. All children must apply to Lambeth for a Reception place through the standard admissions process.

Nursery Tours

Our Nursery Tours are on Mondays at 9:10am. 

To book yourself onto a Nursery Tour, please submit a form below, and we will contact you with confirmation of a tour date.  Alternatively, you can e-mail admin@sudbourne.com.
